PREVIEW THOUGHTS:  One thing is for sure, this movie could be no worse than the version "American Pie" that Madonna recorded for the soundtrack of this film.  Boy, was that cringe-inducing.  The film, however, shapes up a little bit better, if only for the presence of Rupert Everitt, who was everyone's favourite character in the surprise hit, My Best Friend's Wedding.  Everitt plays, surprise surprise,a gay man who accidentally impregnates his best friend, played by Madonna, when the two become drunk and decide to "experiment".  The two decide to have the child but, not surprisingly, complications arise when Madonna's character falls for a new man, play by former star of TV's Law and Order, Benjamin Bratt (or Mr.Julia Roberts as he is often known).  Usually when a movie stars Madonna, then you can chalk it down as a "flop".  But with real-life friend, Everitt by her side, she may be able to turn in a creditable performance if the pairs off screen chemistry can be captured on the big screen.  Mark this one down as "chick flick", but don't let that put you off going to see this film.   Rupert Everitt may be able to save this movie from mediocrity. Maybe.....O.K, probably not.
