PREVIEW THOUGHTS: Tim Roth, remembered by most for his performance in Pulp Fiction, stars in this delightful little film about a young orphaned boy who grows up to become an accomplished pianist. The significance of the boy's achievement is increased by the fact that he had spent all of his life on a steam-liner. Roth is an accomplished actor and reportedly plays the lead role with distinction. This film will not do big business at the box office, but we all know that box office takings does not reflect the true quality of a movie. The film is a slow moving drama but at only 120 minutes long, few should find it boring. Check it out. |
