PREVIEW THOUGHTS: It's school holidays time, and this film has no doubt been released to cash in on the increased number of school children visiting the cinemas this week. Up-and-coming heart-throb Freddie Prinze Jr. stars in this tale of a young man who yearns to rekindle his affair with his first love. Don't expect anything great from this film but it will no doubt hit the mark with teenage girls. This is a movie for the teenagers, pure and simple, so whilst the story might not have any substance it should still provide reasonable entertainment. Given this, Down to You should produce solid box office numbers. Lets just hope that this Freddie Prinze Jr. project is better then his last teenage romantic comedy She's All That, which was one of the worst movies of the past few years. |
